Ice bound » krill-for-dinner

Not starving

Notothenia coriiceps, pictured dissected here, is voracious. It’ll eat anything that vaguely resembles food. This one has had a good, wholesome meal, however, comprised of little shrimp-like krill. Krill like to congregate and graze on the underside of sea ice, so the icing of Arthur Harbor might be good for the resident Coriiceps.
