hook, line, and whole fish
Those of you from Oregon are familiar with nemertean worms for sure. Small rubber-band impersonators with voracious appetites. Here, a large antarctic nemertean worm (right) has swallowed a whole fish that we were using as bait (like on the left). Needless to say, the 2-inch hook ended up inside. I never thought you could catch nemerteans on a long line.
