Temperature trace of the sea surface temperature taken aboard the LM Gould on this trip. Note the abrupt change in temperature at about 57 degrees-the Polar Front. 1 degree latitude is 60 nautical miles (knots), about 70 regular American land miles.
Hi — its good you could take temps on the drake. It was so rough, we couldn’t even take sea temperatures.
